Below are some common questions we receive regarding clock and watch repair. If you have a question that you don’t see answered below, please give us a call!

Do you repair Grandfather clocks or Electric clocks?

Yes, we repair all types of clocks. Bring your clock in or call for estimates.

I wound my clock too tight and now it won't run. Can you over-wind a clock?

If your clock doesn’t run when wound tight, it probably has worn bushings and needs an overhaul. This would be a good time to bring it in or have us stop out.

Should I set my clock turning the hands clockwise or counter clockwise?

Most modern clocks can be set turning the hands either direction. However, some antique clocks should not be set turning the hands counter clockwise. If in doubt, turn clockwise and wait for it to strike every half hour.

Do you do house calls?

Yes. We would be happy to visit your home or business for a clock repair or diagnosis. This may include pick-up and return delivery of a clock that needs to be repaired in our store.
